Poster Animation

The goal of this project was to create an engaging animation based on a poster of my choice.

I created an animation based off of a brilliant 1980s poster by Niklaus Troxler promoting a Brazillian jazz event in Switzerland. Using a song from the headlining musician, Hermeto Pascoal, I animated various elements from and inspired by the original poster to tell the story of Pascoal's rich Brazillian melodies and intricate compositions finding their way into the unfamiliar land of Switzerland.
